How well do you know the ‘language’ of your soul?

Having lived in six countries and studied eighteen languages, I know what’s like to be communicatively disadvantaged, to conform and contort myself so that I can commune with others. But no matter how hard I tried, I could never fully bridge the gap between us and felt left alone on the island of my heart.
As in language, so in life. Like an acorn, we’re born with the blueprint of a full-grown oak. How well we achieve our potential depends on the environment we’re embedded in, on the relationships in which we’re entwined. Our task is two-fold: first, to learn the language of our soul-seed, and second, with that knowledge, to find those people and circumstances that – like sun, soil, and water – can call us forth.
As in language and life, so in love. Early on, we learn that to get love, we must speak the love languages of those around us, even if it means not learning our own, or having to translate ours into theirs. This is not all bad and is, in part, the definition of human society. But there comes a time in many of our lives when we feel irresistibly inspired to become more, create more, express more, and love more. And we may then find we lack knowledge of our love language and fail to find those who may want to speak it.
As a professional linguist, I can lovingly describe the patterns of expression I see in you, as a way for you to discover aspects of yourself through my eyes. I can also help you in expressing yourself more fully with words. As a somatic practitioner, I can compassionately guide your learning the language of your soma (embodied consciousness) through conscious touch (cuddling or Tantric/Taoist sensual massage).
As the tangible form of your spirit, your enervated body speaks in the energy of emotion and sensation.
