Hello beautiful human, I am Mistrix Violet Black (she/they). I’d love to work with you if the following resonates:
When you see someone is fully living in the eros of their life, you feel it in their energy and in what they do. People are drawn to them, and they shine with an inner light. They are inspired and inspirational to others, and move with ease in intimacy and connection. If you feel a longing for more of that in your life, that’s where I can come in.
I practice erotic- and kink-centered healing as a dominatrix, and I would love to support you in exploring your desires and unblocking internal constraints around your pleasure and your lifeforce. The society and structures we live in block that eros-centered energy, filling us instead with shame, self-doubt, self-loathing, compartmentalization, and over-rationalization. Our desires get stuck in our bodies, and they need to be liberated.
I have studied and taught about gender, sexuality, race, embodied oppression, and health for over a decade as a PhD candidate with a master’s degree in sociology. While I love academia, it is also a place where intellectual learning comes at the expense of somatic learning. Many of us have run very far into success with our mastery of intellect and rationalism, but haven’t had enough schooling in our emotions and our bodies. Even when we try to conceal it, it shows in one way or another.
Kink is a wonderful tool for stepping into our desires and eros, because it centers somatic healing around shame, taboo, lust, fear, and anger–emotions our society considers “bad” and so we repress them. But they’re still there. Kink gives a consensual and fantastical container for working on these blocks in your internal landscape through “scenes” that we construct that are specific to your needs.
I do this work in the role of the dominatrix because as I hold the power in the situation, you can let go and submit into your true feelings, desires, sexuality. That is the power of power play–you can stop having to make all the decisions and I give you full permission to just be in yourself while I take the reins. It is moving, cathartic, sacred, liberating, and very fun! I love having power over, with, and in service of you.

I work out of two beautiful private spaces in Oakland and Berkeley, CA. I will only meet clients in their private space if I have already seen them and built trust, and I am amenable to meeting in a public space.
Note: my work is in the space of erotic and somatic learning/healing, it is not sex. We will only engage in legal, consensual modalities that are focused on sexuality. Our society often conflates sex with eros/erotic and sexuality, and I hope I’ve given you a window into what I mean by that. If you’re still curious about the difference, I would love to talk more!
