The Longing Beneath the Surface

Perhaps your life looks fine from the outside, yet underneath there is a persistent ache for something more alive, more honest, more connected. You have a sense that you have learned how to cope, perform, survive, and endure, but not fully how to inhabit your life. Perhaps intimacy feels distant, mechanical, overwhelming, or difficult to trust. Perhaps you long to feel more present, more open, more able to give and receive connection without shame, fear, or self-protection constantly getting in the way.

Many of the people who find me are thoughtful, sensitive, and aware that something in their lives or relationships no longer feels fully alive. Some are new to this kind of exploration, while others have spent years seeking healing, understanding, or deeper connection. What they often share is a longing to feel more present in their bodies, more honest in their relationships, and more connected to themselves, others, and life itself. Some arrive carrying heartbreak, grief, burnout, relational wounds, creative stagnation, or a loss of trust in themselves and their bodies. Others feel cut off from pleasure, vitality, desire, or the deeper feeling that life itself holds meaning beyond routine and survival.

Some clients come not only because they want better relationships, but because they want to feel connected to something sacred: to awe, beauty, eros, nature, creativity, ritual, or the deeper mystery of being alive. They sense there is more to them than the roles they perform and the coping strategies they’ve learned to survive through, but they do not yet know how to fully access it.

What Becomes Possible Through Attention, Presence, and Eros

My work invites people back into relationship with themselves and with the sacredness of life. Over time, clients often become more comfortable expressing needs and boundaries, staying present during intimacy, receiving care without shame, and inhabiting their bodies with greater ease and confidence. Many experience a renewed sense of vitality, emotional honesty, self-trust, and connection that begins to ripple outward into relationships, creativity, work, and daily life.

Rather than trying to “fix” you, I focus on helping you recognize and shift the patterns that keep intimacy, connection, and self-expression feeling difficult. This might look like learning how to remain present in your body when emotions arise instead of immediately disconnecting, performing, freezing, or collapsing into self-judgment. It may mean discovering what genuine desire, tenderness, grief, pleasure, or closeness actually feel like when you are no longer relating through armor alone.

A central part of my work involves helping clients cultivate attention and presence. Learning how to remain connected to their bodies, emotions, desire, and the person in front of them rather than disappearing into performance, distraction, anxiety, or self-protection.

About Ariadne

My background is in depth psychology, trauma-informed work, relational dynamics, embodiment practices, nature-connection, initiation/rites of passage, holistic health and healing, and human development. I am currently completing doctoral work in Jungian and Archetypal Studies, and my approach has also been shaped by years of personal healing, somatic exploration, work centered around intimacy, nervous system regulation, and trauma healing.

Ritual Container

I hold this work as ritual.

Not ritual as performance or fantasy, but as an intentional slowing down. A space where presence matters. Where emotion, vulnerability, desire, tenderness, grief, pleasure, and truth are allowed to exist without needing to be hidden or rushed away. I believe transformation happens not through force or perfection, but through deeper honesty, attunement, embodiment, permission, and relationship with ourselves.

Sessions & What to Expect

Sessions are collaborative and tailored to the individual. Depending on your goals and comfort level, sessions may include conversation, embodiment practices, movement, emotional processing, guided relational exercises, power dynamics, sensual touch, ritual elements, or companion-style experiences. Some sessions are emotionally focused, while others center around embodiment, intimacy, confidence, self-expression, or connection. My approach is intentional, consent-based, and carefully paced so clients feel supported rather than overwhelmed. I work with people of all genders, though much of my work has naturally drawn men seeking a different relationship to intimacy, emotional connection, embodiment, and presence

I offer both single sessions and longer-term containers for people seeking deeper support and integration over time. Sessions are available in-person or virtually, and begin with an initial consultation to explore fit, intentions, boundaries, and comfort levels.
