Touch is an underrated art form. I’m here to elevate it.

Most people can tell good cooking from mediocre slop because they draw on a lifetime of sensory memory—and on a culture obsessed with teaching them what “good” food is. Billions of dollars go into the propaganda of cuisine: TV shows, checkout-line magazines, newspaper critics. Everyone has an opinion about how moist the cake should be or what an air fryer is good for (I’m still not entirely sure).

Sex, seduction, and touch don’t get this cultural scaffolding. Instead, we inherit confusion. Consider the quote: “Everything in human life is really about sex, except sex. Sex is about power.” After a decade in this work, I’ve come to interpret that as: sex is often about disempowerment—and for many people, it is a source of disappointment, shame, or quiet resignation.

Imagine being a child and discovering a chocolate candy in a bowl. You peel back the shiny wrapper, breathe in the smell of silky cocoa, take one ecstatic nibble—and BAM. Your mother knocks it out of your hand and hisses, “Stop doing that in public.”

For a lot of us, that’s exactly how we were introduced to our own pleasure: something bright and delicious that instantly became forbidden. A private indulgence wrapped in shame. We were told it would rot our teeth, give us acne, make us weak—or whatever the genital-theological equivalent was supposed to be.

Some of us broke free of that. We dropped the morality around pleasure and dove in headfirst: eat the whole bowl of chocolates, share them with friends, preach the gospel of sweetness to anyone who’ll listen. Then, after a few cavities, we realized there is disempowerment in indulgence, too.

Eventually, a personal morality comes into focus. Temperance, safety, patience, honesty—they stop being abstractions and become the very things that allow pleasure to deepen. Surrender to something larger than impulse becomes essential. All in good time, we learn to say.

If you’re ready to move out of disempowerment—and into grounded agency, embodied clarity, and the craft of real touch—I can guide you. My work is practical, relational, and designed to give you tools you can use immediately.

I’m Adam Lamb, an intimacy and BDSM coach with a decade of experience helping people reconnect to their bodies, boundaries, and desires. My approach blends somatic practice, meditation, and trauma-aware BDSM techniques developed over years of working with private clients. I focus on building emotional clarity, embodied confidence, and touch that creates trust—not performance. I work with individuals and couples in New York and online.
