You can love someone deeply and still lose your way.
You can also lose your way inside yourself.

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked with individuals and couples in the tender territory where relationship, sexuality, embodiment and spirit meet.

People come to me wanting to feel more alive in their bodies, understand their desires, deepen pleasure, communicate more honestly, develop clearer boundaries, repair patterns that keep hurting their relationships, or find their way back to erotic connection.

My work as a relationship coach is experiential. We may talk, but we don’t stay only in the head.

For Men: Out of the Head, Into the Body

Many men have spent years learning how to perform, provide, solve problems and keep going.

But knowing how to function well in the world doesn’t necessarily teach you how to relax into your body, receive pleasure, communicate desire, or remain deeply present with another person.

Sex can become one of the few places where you allow yourself to stop thinking and simply feel.

And yet even there, pressure can creep in.

Am I doing this right?
Is she enjoying herself?
Am I staying hard?
Am I lasting long enough?
What am I supposed to do next?

I help men develop a different relationship with sensation, desire and erotic energy—one rooted less in performance and more in presence.

We may work with breath, relaxation, body awareness, boundaries, touch, desire, communication and the capacity to stay open and connected as sensation builds.

The goal isn’t to become some perfected version of a man or lover.

It’s to become more fully inhabiting yourself—and from there, more available for intimacy, pleasure and connection.

For Women: Reawakening Pleasure & Desire

Many women come to me knowing something has gone quiet.

Maybe desire isn’t what it once was.
Maybe sex has become something you accommodate rather than something arising from your own hunger.
Maybe you know how to care for everyone else but have lost touch with what you want.

Or perhaps you remember feeling sensual, playful, erotic and deeply alive—and wonder where that woman went.

Our erotic selves change.

Motherhood, grief, heartbreak, hormones, menopause, aging, trauma, relationships and years of overriding ourselves can all reshape the way we experience desire.

The invitation isn’t necessarily to become the woman you used to be.
It’s to become curious about the woman and body you are now.

What actually feels good?
What awakens you?
What shuts you down?
What do you want more of?
What is your real yes?
What happens when the answer is no?

There can be tremendous freedom in discovering these answers from inside your own body instead of trying to perform sexuality the way you think you should.

For Couples: Finding Each Other Again

Sometimes two people still love each other deeply and yet keep hurting each other.

The same argument happens again and again.

One person pursues while the other retreats.
Sex becomes loaded with pressure, rejection, obligation or resentment.
Touch starts to carry expectations.

Or perhaps nothing is terribly wrong—you’ve simply become excellent partners in the business of life and somewhere along the way stopped feeling like lovers.

I help couples slow these patterns down enough to understand what’s actually happening underneath them.

Under anger there may be fear.
Under criticism there may be longing.
Under withdrawal there may be overwhelm.
Under sexual rejection there may be pressure, hurt, resentment, shame or a body that simply doesn’t know how to relax.

We may work with conflict, communication, boundaries, attachment, desire, mismatched libido, sensuality, touch and the erotic dynamic between you.

For some couples, I may guide experiential practices that help you communicate differently, touch one another with more awareness, explore polarity, rediscover play, or expand the ways you create pleasure together.

The aim is not simply to have fewer fights or more sex.
It is to help you find each other again.

What Sessions Can Include

Our work might include conversation, body awareness, breath, movement, eye gazing, boundary practices, difficult-conversation rehearsals, dance, playful wrestling, cuddling or simple touch exercises designed to develop presence and sensitivity.

Because this work explores sexuality and embodiment, I want the container to be completely clear: sessions with me are always fully clothed. There is no sexual interaction between us and no genital or explicitly sexual touch.

Any touch between us is consensual, nonsexual and used intentionally as part of the learning process.

You are never required to participate in touch. Your no, not now, slower, farther away or I’d-rather-try-something-else are as welcome as your yes.

For couples, I may also guide you in sensual or erotic practices with one another, while I remain in the role of coach and facilitator. You will always be at full choice how you choose to engage these practices, and your comfort is key.

The purpose is not to create an erotic experience with me.
It is to help you develop capacities you can take back into your own life:

More awareness of what you actually want.
Clearer boundaries.
Greater capacity to give and receive.
More ease with pleasure and sensation.
More courage in intimacy.
More aliveness.

My professional background spans psychology, relationship work and embodied sexuality, including a B.A. in Psychology, graduate study in mental health counseling, Gottman Method Couples Therapy training, and certification as a Sexological Bodyworker and Somatic Sexologist.

I work in person in Asheville, North Carolina, and worldwide online.
